Women & Girls Empowerment through Waste Innovations

On 23 August 2023, UNICOT and YASD empowered 30 women and 25 girls in Kawale through training in briquette production as a sustainable cooking alternative to firewood. This initiative promotes climate-smart energy solutions, reduces deforestation, and supports women’s entrepreneurship in waste innovations.
